Peter’s professional career spans 25 years in Australia and the United Kingdom. His extensive knowledge of aviation, education and commercial projects together with his experience in all procurement methods across the industry enables Peter to provide institutional clients with first-class strategic advice and guidance.
Peter’s commercial savoir-faire ensures that the Architectus team is well-informed about potential and contemporary projects and motivates them to be at the top of their field thereby delivering high-quality input and design. Championing ESD and clear, reasoned design, he challenges projects beyond their brief to achieve more advantageous financial viability for the client, enhanced sustainability and to simply be better places to be. Signature projects include the RAIA award-winning Monash Centre for Electron Microscopy, the PCA award-winning Australian Synchrotron and the Terminal 2 Expansion at Melbourne Airport. Peter’s projects have repeatedly received the highest possible recognition from industry and peers.
Peter is a member of the RAIA Large Practice Forum, formerly a Property Council of Australia judging panel member and participates on working party committees for a number of external organisations.
Responsible for procurement of major and strategic projects, Peter’s energetic and disciplined approach to the practice of architecture stems from his preoccupation not only about our clients’ end results but equally about the broader social outcomes that are a consequence of our work and core principles.
