PDF Help Page
The PDF brochures used extensively on this site require the Adobe® Reader® software in order to view them.
You can download it for free from Adobe® and return to the site when you are ready.
If you know you have the latest version of Adobe® Reader® installed and are still experiencing difficulties, we have identified an issue which causes Adobe® Reader® to quit unexpectedly when opening PDFs from this or any other site in a browser.
This occurs most frequently on Windows systems which also have of Adobe® Acrobat® (which allows you to both view and create PDFs) installed. In order to resolve this issue, you need to disable Adobe® Acrobat® from opening PDFs in the browser window. You can achieve this by following these steps:
- Launch Adobe® Acrobat®
- Navigate to the settings at Edit > Preferences > Internet
- Uncheck all checked boxes in the 'Web Browser Options' section
- Click 'OK'.
- To now view any PDF right-click on it's link and choose 'Save Target
As' to a location on your hard drive.
From there you will be able to open and view the PDF successfully.
