Site 68 Sydney Olympic Park

Site 68 Sydney Olympic Park

This elegant residential tower has been designed to respond to its location and becomes a transitional form evolving from the rigid, angular built form of Sydney Olympic Park to the organic forms of the adjacent Bicentennial Parklands.

Located on a gateway site between the low rise buildings of Sydney Olympic Park and the Bicentennial Parklands, the building reflects the very nature of its environment with its elegant spiralling quality bringing a dynamic of movement enhanced by the ever changing light conditions that gently articulate the glass facade.

The 37 storey tower, comprising 378 apartments, floats above a triple height lobby which integrates seamlessly with the adjacent parklands via its glazed facade.

All apartments enjoy access to views with the raised tower form providing vistas for the the lowest apartments, locating them above the tree tops of the public realm.

The core is centrally located to maximise the number of apartments to the perimiter and the circulation corridors have been positioned to provide access to views, light and natural ventilation.

Copper and timber effect infill panels of the tower skin bring a warmth to the elevation and allude to the building’s parkland context. The subtle
modulation of the facade is further influenced by the changing depth of the generous twisting balconies.

Private outdoor rooftop spaces have been provided to the penthouses and are shielded from the elements with a glass curtain wall.
