Cranbrook Residences

Cranbrook Residences

The design of the Cranbrook Residences provides a considered, intelligent response to both its setting and to the functional requirements of the client brief.

Set against the backdrop of the Castle Hill Country Club Golf Course, and separated by a creek that has been sensitively regenerated as part of the development, the thirty-nine independent living units are located across five individual pavilions, four of which are clustered around a central landscaped courtyard analogous to a village green. The fifth pavilion forms the western edge to a small lake that is the central focus of the development, and between each pavilion glimpses are provided of the regenerated creek and golf course beyond.

The built form, scale and character of the development sets a new benchmark for contemporary independent living units with most apartments featuring generous daylighting, oversized balconies, and expansive views. Fixed blades or operable sliding louvres allow residents to modulate their own living environment to suit their preferred privacy and shading requirements.

All apartments have been designed to achieve a high degree of adaptability with the discrete placement of future infrastructure elements enabling SEPP Seniors Living requirements whilst allowing residents to maintain their preferred lifestyle in a dignified manner.
