Sydney’s healthiest workplace recognised at Asia Pacific awards

Barrack Place has won the 2019 Urban Land Institute (ULI) Asia Pacific Award for Excellence at the ULI Asia Pacific Summit.

The ULI Asia Pacific Awards for Excellence recognise truly superior development efforts in the private, public and non-profit sectors. Projects honoured with the excellence awards represent the highest standards of achievement in the development industry and Architectus is honoured to be a part of the award-winning project team for Barrack Place.

Architectus Principal, Colin Odbert says,

“It is an honour to be awarded a Urban Land Institute Asia Pacific Award for Excellence for Barrack Place. The award represents both Architectus’ and client Investa’s commitment to delivering developments that exceed expectations and showcase superior quality in design and architecture.”

“Drawing inspiration from the heritage warehouse precinct, Architectus focused on creating a contemporary, commercial space that creatively reflects the history of the area and provides a design solution that meets the needs of modern workers.”

“Key design considerations for Barrack Place included the integration of advanced technology, the conscious design of a healthy environment that actively promotes employee wellbeing, and the meeting of both heritage-inspired and contemporary elements in an elegant and award-winning design.”
