David Andrew has more than 30 years of experience in the architecture and engineering industries and has worked in Australia, the United Kingdom and Italy.
His portfolio comprises many award-winning projects across the residential, commercial, education, health, transport and public sectors. He has delivered projects under a wide range of contract types. David’s passion is evident in his work; he strives for the highest standards of design and delivery and applies practical, efficient and innovative documentation, detailing and construction methods.
David’s solutions-based work has become more focused on the internal work methods and processes at Architectus. He has developed our documentation review processes and leads our Internal Documentation Review Group. He works in unison with the Architectus Digital team to offer clients the industry’s latest technological innovations, which support optimal project outcomes.
He has peer-reviewed several critical projects, including Pritzker Prize-winning architect, SANAA’s design for the Art Gallery of New South Wales’ state significant Sydney Modern Project; the design competition-winning Cranbrook School Bellevue Hill Campus Redevelopment; and the Health and Medical Research Building for Flinders University.
David has also undertaken peer reviews commissioned by the Victorian Schools Building Authority (VSBA) for multiple buildings within the Schools 2020 project; and Macquarie Group for the Sydney Metro, Martin Place Over Station Development.
