Architectus leadership team grows

Architectus, today announced the appointment of two new principals to the leadership team.

The new appointments comprise of Principals, Mark van den Enden and Dario Spralja, to the Melbourne and Sydney studios, respectively. The new principals follow earlier appointments including Andrew Schunke to Managing Principal of the Adelaide studio, and Kathy Roberts as Senior Associate to the Sydney studio. Both Andrew and Kathy are focussed on driving Architectus’ national delivery of workplace and interior design projects.

Mark and Dario come to Architectus with extensive experience across diverse disciplines and projects, both nationally and internationally. Mark hails from a background in justice, rail infrastructure, education, and sports and leisure facilities. Dario brings a wealth of knowledge across rail, aviation, commercial, residential, education, public and aged-care sectors.

Architectus Managing Director Ray Brown said, “We are delighted to welcome these incredibly experienced designers to Architectus. These appointments add considerable strength to our team and our ability to deliver innovative and well researched design nationally.

“As Architectus continues to grow nationally, we’re constantly seeking experienced and energetic new designers.”

The appointments come at a time of continued growth for Architectus with recent major project wins including the Macquarie University Central Courtyard Precinct project, the State Library of Victoria Redevelopment, Capital Metro in Canberra, and working with Pritzker prize-winning Japanese architectural and design firm SANAA as executive architect on the Art Gallery of NSW Sydney Modern Project.
