Andrew Schunke

Andrew has 25 years of experience in projects across the workplace, education, aviation, retail, hospitality and public sectors.

A leading interior designer, he has significantly developed Architectus’ expertise in the field, growing the team from two to forty staff since joining in 2016. Similarly, he has driven the expansion of the Adelaide studio from a dozen staff to more than 40.

Andrew has led the interiors team on many of Architectus’ most innovative and awarded projects. The team’s work on high profile projects such as Sydney commercial tower Barrack Place, and the University of Sydney’s new Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences building, have reinforced Architectus’ reputation as a leading interiors practice.

Andrew fosters highly communicative working relationships with clients during the design and construction process. His environmental sensitivity, sophisticated design sensibility and attention to detail result in spaces that consistently exceed clients’ expectations.
